Fleet Racing Products offers the RS1, a system for starting sailboat races. The
RS1 offers precise and repeatable starting signals for boats starting a race, automating
the starting process, by precisely sounding horns and rising flags. Designed to
be used for sailboat race training and casual club racing, the RS1 starts a race
with a convenient push of a button. RS1 is a highly configurable system, allowing
for multiple fleet starts along with delay of race, fleet recall and individual

From field feedback, for 2011, FRP has enhanced the following components:
- Using an off the shelf LED all around light by Attwood, instead of using a beehive
light.
- Shorting the Prep flag pole, so the prep flag it is not hidden by the fleet flag
during the starting sequence.
- Changing the horn bracket to aluminum, replacing a fiberglass bracket for improved
strength.

all around light.
